This year in June we did Europe tour for 8 days in which we visited France and Switzerland. As expected both the destinations are astonishing and breathtaking. Paris is such a beauty and Switzerland is truly worth all the hype.
There is no doubt Paris is a fashion capital of the world. Most of the high end fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel,Hermes are headquartered in Paris. Paris is a city of light, love, art, fashion, gastronomy and culture.
So this week’s post is all about Swiss France throwback tour.
- Day 1 in Paris:
On the first day we landed Paris at around 5 in the evening. That day after dinner we decided to visit Eiffel Tower as I couldn’t wait more to visit it and also its one of the most romantic and attractive places in the world. Every night,every hour on the hour,Landmark of the Paris lights up with 20,000 twinkly golden bulbs and sparkles for five minutes,and looks even more beautiful and enchanting. But sadly,it’s illegal to share, sell, or publish photos and videos of the night-lit Eiffel Tower. - Day 2 in Paris:
On our second day, We again went to see day view of Eiffel tower and we went up to the second floor. View from there was just amazing and stunning. After seeing this beauty I realized, why millions of people visit Eiffel tower every year.
Later on this day,we did city tour by hop on hop off bus which included Arc de Triomph, Notre Dame Cathedral, Champ de Mars,Opera Garnier, Louvre Pyramide, Champs-Elysees, Alexander bridge and Invalides.
Another exciting stop was at Fragonard museum for which I was waiting for long. Fragonard is a French perfume house and makes their products in their own factory and it is quite interesting to visit their museum with guided tour. It is a huge museum cum store with varieties of products ranging from perfumes to creams to soaps.
And on this evening ,we did Seine river cruise ride. This river flows through the city and you can observe famous attractions and capture the memories- Orsay Museum, Eiffel Tower, Alexander Bridge and Notre Dame Cathedral. You can enjoy city skyline through this cruise ride.
3. Day 2 in Paris:
On the second day, we visited the world famous Disney Theme Park which is full of fun, adventure and entertainment. This was our second visit to Disney park after HongKong, so we knew what to expect. From thrill rides to family adventures, there’s plenty to explore at Disneyland Paris. The Parks are packed with Disney attractions and unforgettable experiences. Its every kid’s dream to visit Disneyland once in lifetime. Even though we spend entire day there, we wanted to stay there for some more time.
Later in the evening, we went to see world famous Lido show. Its a breathtaking show with talented performers,Graceful choreography, fascinating acrobats and technical prowess. This spectacular show is a true ode to the City of Lights.
On day 4, we bid goodbye to Paris-the city of love with lots of memories and we embarked on our journey to Switzerland. Stay tuned till I share my Swiss experience. Have a nice weekend ahead. XOXO!
